Getting Started

1. Create an account

Register at /auth/register.php to manage subscriptions and downloads.

2. Subscribe to RowtonVoice

Choose the Pro plan on the pricing page. Your subscription is stored in the Rowton database and unlocks installer downloads from Account Settings.

Tip: Run RowtonVoice with GPU acceleration enabled in Settings → Performance for best latency.

3. Install & activate

  1. Download the installer for your OS from Account Settings.
  2. Launch RowtonVoice and sign in with your Rowton account.
  3. Allow microphone permissions when prompted.
  4. Press Ctrl+Shift+Space to start dictation (customizable).

4. First transcription

Speak clearly for 5–10 seconds. Text appears in the overlay and copies to your cursor position. For batch mode, drag an audio file onto the app window.
